In the city of Novouzensk, Saratov region more than 23 years operates the mosque. It annually hosts training courses on the basics of Islam to everyone, in addition to over a hundred children relax and gain knowledge about their religion at the summer educational changes at the local Muslim temple.

the building of the mosque was once the city room. In 1993 it gave the first novouzenskaya Nariman Imam-Hazrat Shalabaevo. A Muslim himself, doing repairs, looking for the building materials and the locals helped him to raise funds.

In the late summer of 2016, local Muslims led by the Imam Jamaleddine-Hazrat by Davlatova decided to completely replace the roof, which needs to be overhauled.

All work is done by the parishioners, among them there are older believers. Help from volunteers from neighboring villages and districts.

In the future, the mosque needs to be replaced of heating, in addition to help it become traditional for such buildings dome. However, all this will happen later, in the meantime the Muslims of Novouzensk try to have time to cover the roof before the cold weather.
